A very flexible, liquid blend seasoning which is a great balance of soy sauce and dashi. Makes it easy to prepare authentic don rice bowl dishes.
Fry tonkatsu (pork cutlet).
Place don sauce, onions and the tonkatsu (pork cutlet) in a heat resistant bowl with a beat egg and cover with plastic wrap, then heat in a microwave until the egg is half cooked.
Quickly place on top of a bowl of rice.

(1) Fry tonkatsu (pork cutlet).
(2) Place don sauce, onions and the tonkatsu (pork cutlet) in a heat resistant bowl with a beat egg and cover with plastic wrap, then heat in a microwave until the egg is half cooked.
(3) Quickly place on top of a bowl of rice.

Several varieties of tempura such as vegetables and shrimp are served on top of a rice bowl and finished off with don sauce.
If Nihon Shokken's tempura batter mix is used, the batter will stay crispy even when sauce is used.

(1) Deep fry karaage Japanese fried chicken.
(2) Place don sauce, onions and the karaage Japanese fried chicken from (1) in a heat resistant bowl with a beat egg and cover with plastic wrap. Heat in a microwave until the egg is half cooked.
(3) Quickly place on top of a bowl of rice.

(1) Heat the don sauce and add beef and onions when it boils.
(2) Once it boils again, reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
(3) Fill bowl with rice and place the ingredients from (2) on top then add red pickled ginger.

(1) Put oil in a pan and lightly stir-fry beef and onion.
(2) Add don sauce to the ingredients in (1) and add Chinese cabbage, onions, tofu, konyaku and other ingredients and simmer.
